She supported Peter magnificently during his 24 years tenure as Secretary. Their daughter Jenny sent a very generous donation and we drank to the memory of both her parents. We also had a special word of thanks for the life of Adrianne Howe who was such a stalwart attendee since our NCO aircrew were able to attend. Her death, so soon after Mick’s, was a devastating blow to their sons but I know they took great comfort from the number of Squadron members and their Ladies who attended her funeral.
